MISSION : To minister to expecting mothers and their families during and after their pregnancy. To provide Christian based resources to answer questions and concerns regarding pregnancy and childbirth.

ACTIVITIES:

1. Initial contact with expecting mothers with the gift of a book
2. Phone calls, encouraging notes, and prayer for expecting mothers and their families throughout the pregnancy
3. Gift bag given at the time of birth. Wooden sheep placed in yard for homecoming from hospital
4. Information provided regarding Baby Dedication
5. Bulletin board by nursery with up to date information about new births
6. Contact with nursery staff regarding new births

BABY DEDICATION: A service to dedicate parents and their babies or small children. We are currently doing dedication quarterly due to growing numbers of births per year. Parents are given a bud vase with two roses, a certificate, and a white Bible for the baby. We are hoping for no more individual dedications since we are doing the church wide dedication quarterly.
