Friday
Disclaimer: this is being typed as we travel down a very rough interstate in a very bumpy truck, please excuse any typos.

It is about 2:00pm Central time and the big trucks and cook team are about 30 miles north of Cincinnati in a rain storm.  The early bus should be just ahead of us and we just got a call that the second bus left Oakland Woods Church 10 minutes ago.

Yesterday was another awesome day as we saw God continue to work in a way only he can.  Thursday was decision day at the bybc and 19 children prayed to recieve Christ as their savior! Our celebration time last night was a very special time.  Several people shared the things that God had shown and/or taught them this last week.  Pastor Tim from New Beginings Baptist Church brought his praise band to minister to us and followed that with a time of comedy [his former profession].  Pastor John Smith from Shepards Fold Baptist Church spoke to us and described the effect that he believed our group had on not just the people we encountered but on the Churches we ministered to and the Oakland County area as a whole.  He asked us to pass on to the Church his heartfelt thanks for supporting this mission trip.  Please pray for Pastor John and Shepards Fold as they celebrate their very first service this Sunday Morning, June 29th.

All told, the week saw 119 salvations, 30 other decisions and many, many changed lives both in the people of Detroit and our own team.  Hopefully these numbers will increase as we have not gotten a report from the last day of sports camp today!  We have no doubt that your prayers were a huge part of the work we saw God do in our time with these fantastic people.

Well, we have reached Cincinnati (and RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC).  Continue to pray that God will ride with us and bring us home safely

Wednesday
What a night and a day!!!!!  Last nights block party was GREAT, there were over 30 salvation decisions and a couple of other decisions.  We had another wonderful day today with good attendance at the bybc and sports camp.  Tonights Block Party was FANSTAZMAGORICAL!!!!!  We had 170 people register in the middle of a "toad strangler" rain storm and nobody left!  Our Creative Ministries did an outstanding job and God Blessed with over 50 folks coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior!!!!!!  Words cannot describe what the Holy Spirit did in our midst this evening.

We have decision day in bybc club tomorrowPlease be in prayer as we share the plan of salvation with all of the young people we have been working with all week.
Thanks for checking in on us and for all of your prayer.

Tuesday
It is Tuesday morning and what a beautiful morning it is!!  Nice and cool without a cloud in the sky.  It did rain up until block party time last night but then God stopped the rain and we were able to do a full gig.  Satan tried to interupt things with a couple of sprinkles, but nobody left and we "kept on keeping on."  There were 7 salvation decisions and 3 other decisions!

Our teams have just left to go to their respective bybc and sports camp.  Please pray that God will send young people to hear about Jesus.

Thanks for checking on us, more later.

Monday
It is Monday afternoon and we are preparing to go to our second block party.  Last nights BP was AWESOME!  There were 14 decisions for salvation.  Added to the one yesterday morning at one of the Church Services and 15 people became new Christians!!

The turnout for our Back Yard Bible Clubs (bybc) and Sports Camp was not quite what we had hoped for so everyone did some canvasing and hopefully the numbers will be up tomorrow.

It is trying to look like rain again this afternoon, but we trust God to hold off the rain just as he did last night.  We serve a mighty GOD.

Sunday

Sunday has been a GREAT DAY.  We all had a good time worshiping with the different Churches we are working with this week.  Bro. Paul preached at our host Church and did an outstanding job.

The weather has been outstanding [although as we sit here at our first block party site waiting to start, the rain is threatening, but God will take care of it!]  We have even been eating our meals outside under a huge tent.  You will see pictures of some of us setting it up.

We are hoping and praying for God to do awesome things this week.  Please pray along with us.  More updates later.
